01 / THE FIX

Small contact point. Big daily impact.

When the factory grip gives up, your hands take over.

01

Refresh worn controls

Cover sticky, cracked, slick, or degraded joystick surfaces without cutting, drilling, or replacing the control.

03

Upgrade in minutes

Cinch or zipper systems install over existing joysticks with no tools and keep critical buttons within reach.

Mixed-fleet ready

Made for the machines that live in the dirt.

From compact loaders to full-size excavators, EquipGrips are built around the controls operators touch across changing jobs, brands, and machine classes.

04 / THE SCIENCE

Not opinions. Data.

Less vibration at the operator interface.

Independent lab and field testing led by Dr. Zhuang Li at McNeese State University measured real equipment with accelerometers across John Deere, CASE, and Volvo machines.

UP TO63%

reduction in vibration transfer during independent testing

01Accelerometer testing

Instrumented measurement—not subjective feel alone.

02Real machines

Lab and field testing across working equipment.

03Operator-focused

Designed to reduce transfer where hands meet controls.

Who ran the testing

Dr. Zhuang Li, McNeese State University

Dr. Li is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at McNeese State University and served as faculty advisor for the university research project that evaluated EquipGrips neoprene fabric. The work was carried out as a McNeese ENGR 491 senior engineering study by mechanical engineering students Victor Enoch and Samson Odutola under Dr. Li’s supervision.

  • Controlled shaker-table experiments in the university lab
  • Field measurements on working excavators, October 2024 – April 2025
  • Data filtered per ISO 5349-1 hand-transmitted vibration weighting
  • Results judged against the EU 8-hour 2.5 m/s² exposure action value

“I experienced an immediate and sustained reduction in vibration-related discomfort. I was able to operate the mower continuously without numbness, tingling, or joint pain.”

Field-tested perspective

After using EquipGrips on a zero-turn mower across approximately two acres, John highlighted the product’s simple installation, non-permanent design, and potential as an additional vibration exposure control for landscaping and industrial operators.
